The Dog and I - Lavender Essential Oil and Poppy Seeds Soap

Homemade coconut oil soap. 

 

Coconut oil gives a high foaming and highly cleansing soap. Perfect for those stinky paws, mucky muzzles and patches of fox poo all dogs seem to love. Also fantastic for greasy coats. 

 

Our lavender and poppy seed coconut oil soap contains nothing but coconut oil, lye, water and poppy seeds for added 'grip'. We all know how slippery a wet dog can be, never mind the soap. With pure lavender essential oil.

 

Lavender essential oil is known for is calming scent and is also highly regarded for the skin including dandruff and minor irritations.

 

We only use a small amount of essential oils, approximately half that recommended for humans which is the recommended level for dogs.

 

ESSENTIAL OILS MUST NOT BE USED ON CATS.

Can I use it on cockerpoos? Generally no - unless they are kept short. Cockerpoos and other poo crosses have quite specific coat care needs, they really do need a little more TLC and a conditioning product which sadly is not possible in soap bar. Hence why we sell a beautiful conditioning shampoo.
